It's Been a While...

... since my last blog post.

Ever since we embarked on the restoration of the house, it has been like working two full time jobs. I'm not going to try and backtrack, but be have been keeping things up-to-date on our social media (links at the bottom of the page if you're not yet following our shenanigans).

I've come back on here to say that I have updated the website, after a good while, before our June event organised by the NBHS. I figured it was really difficult to convey just how much progress we've made, so I printed out little QR codes for people to scan and see where we started and all the big milestones we went through for each section of the building / site.

These QR codes have now expired, and there's no one to scan them anyway, so I figured I would include all of this right here on our website. It can be accessed through the link in this post, but also by clicking on the Journey Map at the top of our desktop site. The mobile site does not quite have this quick access link, but there is a link at the very bottom of the homepage, just after the link to the history page. Incidentally, this has also been updated at each end, with the discovery of a 1791 deed of transfer for the mill. Funny story... that transfer is dated October 19th, so exactly 231 years before our own purchase went through. Coincidence? Most likely! But what are the odds? 1:365. Not negligeable I guess, but still cool!
