After spending all of Saturday sourcing all of this propping stuff, we picked a supplier, who, it turned out, didn't have the treated timber he quoted for and it was too late to go to others. So we're leaving the propping until Thursday (fingers crossed).
That left us with a Sunday of uselessness and helplessness so we decided to take the troublemaker for a walk and get the garden beds done. Yes, this post is about the garden.
I planted a bunch of perennials (I think?) back in August which we still had in little pre-culture pots. Maybe not the best time of year to be transplanting things, but they are better off. Can you tell I still have a way to go before achieving green-fingered status?
I also figured out that to take the little plants out of the little pots you just need to poke them from below and then pull the plant out by the actual plant. For the past year I was trying to poke them all out from underneath (breaking loads of little plastic trays in the process), because I thought I'd just rip them otherwise. Mind blown!
Anyway, here's a mindless video from a Sunday morning planting session. I like it because it's so quick and efficient. At the beginning I also added a clean up session from a couple of weeks ago, in the pissing rain. Very satisfying! Hopefully more eventful videos will come soon enough.
