Whoever says voting is a waste of time is officially wrong."Bridge" won in our polls by a single vote over "Garden".
Therefore we are bringing you, from the Backlog Collection, the construction of this little gem of a footstick, which I affectionately call "Pinot Bridgio", not least because of how wonky it is.
It was originally meant to be a rope bridge, but we had a long log lying around, and a good adviser with a log to match, so we're leaving the rope bridge for next year. Or the year after.
We built this for the purpose of getting to the back of the mill. It was previously accessible through a "land bridge" (seen in the videos), which is not part of our site and has been fenced off for cattle. We needed to find a way to get to the timber from the vegetation clearance that took place in February, and to generally access this area without having to crawl between barbed wire and electric fencing or being accosted by a young man-cow.
This was only the second thing we ever built, we will bring you the catio videos in due course.
