Sighing in the Rain

No, not a typo! I'm sighing with every gust of wind and every hailstone shower, while I sit at my work computer wondering what might be happening at the mill.

It's not so much the amount of water that has come down in the last 2 weeks... we've come across a collapsed wall core at the kiln building and we're counting down days until we can prop it. This will not be until Saturday 12th now, as I am going away this weekend and Chris has an assignment due on Monday, plus a test next week. We still need to source material too. We're just hoping it lasts till then.

See that dodgy corner? Well, this was over 6 months before the inside crumbled. Now you can see the sky through those holes.

And revel at the aforementioned collapsed wall core. January 2022 and October 2022.

Part of the trouble is, that we can't currently get inside the kilns at all, it's completely overgrown and could even be unsafe, with all the collapsing stonework and that.

Sooooo... keep your fingers and toes crossed for us, and your diviner rods firmly uncrossed.
