So we had a wonderful week with our visitors and we got lots done. But we also started to feel like spring was upon us because it had been dry for ages and the days were longer (they usually are when one is not at work) and at the very end of that week we decided to check out the awning that came with our caravan. We never even took it out of its package so we weren't sure if all the parts were there and we've long been pondering what to do with the floor... anyway, we're bringing you a little video of the whole debacle of premature-ness:
Now that it's up, it can't really come down. That's because it has been cat proofed (we think), so sausages can't escape after the move.
Speaking of which, we will need to move to the caravan very soon, possibly next week, so we are looking at temporary power solution and getting in some mains water. We're looking to commence with the stonework in about three weeks time...
We've also put in a planning application for our wastewater treatment so keep your fingers crossed for us. I might write about it in a separate post.
