WETLAND

The Integrated Constructed Wetland designed by VESI Environmental is our wastewater treatment solution and consists of two cells and a gravel bed where wastewater is pumped from a settlement tank by the cottage. Its a more aesthetically pleasing and biodiversity friendly solution to a traditional sewage treatment plant and fits in well into the mill typology where a mill pond upstream would often create a wetland habitat.
